About the Skydiving Project

A total 30 million RMB has been invested into this project. It is located inside Qiandao Lake General Airport and takes up an area of 2 mu (1 mu roughly equals 666 sq m). It provides individual and group (two people) skydiving training courses which will, in time, enable divers to witness a panoramic view of Qiandao Lake’s mountains and waters whilst traveling downwards from an altitude of 4000 meters.

For beginners, the base also provides AFF (Accelerated Freefall) courses and after passing seven exams, one can then skydive alone in the base. AFF is widely acknowledged as the safest course to quickly grasp the skills of skydiving.

Skydiving, as a new-rising air-sport project in China, has gradually become the latest sporting trend. Its settlement in Jian’de enables skydiving enthusiasts in Eastern China to skydive near their home whilst also providing urban people with a new alternative to sight-seeing.
