Impression West Lake Tour and Baopu Taoist Temple visit
West Lake is a symbol of the lovely city Hangzhou. Many Chinese believe that Hangzhou is a city full of love. That is true. For a very long time, the West Lake and Leifeng Pagoda have witnessed love stories happening there. You also have the opportunity to visit Baopu Taoist Temple to see Taoist rituals and enjoy ancient Taoist music.

Day 1
Hangzhou
Visits: Lesser Yingzhou(小瀛洲) and the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon (三潭印月)

In the afternoon, you will be picked up at your hotel to start your half day tour in Hangzhou.

Firstly, take a short boat ride on the West Lake to enjoy the charm of this world cultural landscape heritage. Embark on the Island of “Three Pools Mirroring the Moon” which is one of the famous “Top Ten Views of the West Lake”. Then stop at Leifeng Pagoda (雷锋塔) to listen to the love story of Bai Suzhen (白娘子) and Xu Xian (许仙).

Later, you will pay a visit to Baopu Taoist Temple which is located at Ge Hill (葛岭) in western Hangzhou. The temple is dedicated to the worship of Ge Hong (葛洪, 281-341 AD), a famous Taoist, chemist and medical expert. Today, Baopu Temple is one of China′s major Taoist temples. Every day, the priests of the temple study Taoist classics, medical treatises and practice martial arts. Taoist believers and visitors can also see Taoist rituals and enjoy ancient Taoist music there.

After having Hangzhou Cuisine as your dinner, you will appreciate a fantastic performance — Impression West Lake which starts at 19:15 and ends at 20:25. After that, you will be transferred back to your hotel for a good rest.
