Lingfeng Winter-sweet and Mume Blossom Show 2017-05-11
Mume (includes winter-sweet and mume blossom), is a distinct flowering plant of China. It is related to both plum and apricot trees. Different from other flowering trees, it starts to flower in mid-winter, and the flower blooms most vibrantly during the time of the winter snow. Therefore, it is frequently depicted in Chinese art and poetry as a symbol of perseverance and hope.


Lingfeng(Ling Peak) is one of the three southeast China’s famous resorts for enjoying Winter-sweet and Mume Blossom. On its sprawling 12-hectare land are planted about 6,000 winter-sweet made up of 50 species. Every February when Mume flowers are in full bloom, a poular and awe-inspiring show boasts their delicate and colorful blooms. During this time, the air is heavy with the fragrance of Mume flower, while  Lingfeng is surrounded by a kaleidoscope of colorful Mei flowers.

Hangzhou, Soaked in Traditional Chinese Medicine2017-11-21
Traditional Chinese medicine has a time-honored history. As early as ancient times, through the process of struggling with nature, traditional Chinese medicine was created. When searching for food, it was discovered that plants could relieve symptoms, which is the origins of traditional Chinese medicine; hot rocks or sand and earth wrapped up with furs or tree barks eased pain when warming oneself by a fire, which is how moxibustion came into being. It is also during the process of producing tools, that the ancient Chinese discovered the stabbing of some parts of the body can ease the pain of some other parts of the body, and that is how acupuncture come into being.
