    Brief of Prince Bay Park

Located at the southwest of the West Lake scenic area and against the Nanping Hill, the Prince Bay Park occupies 0.2 square kilometers. Legend has it that two princes of the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279) were interred in this park when it is still a shallow bay. Therefore, this park gets its name of Prince Bay Park.

The Prince Bay Park is famous for its tulips and holds an annually tulips exhibition from late March to late April for a period of 20 days. In addition, every March can see beautiful oriental cherry blossom here.

The most beautiful scenery of the Prince Bay Park is on the top of the Jiu Yao Hill which is rightly lying in the park. When you stand on the top of this less than 200 meter-high hill, you can have a panorama view of the beautiful West Lake scenery.

Choose a sunny day to explore the park which is free of charge, you can not only see couples taking wedding photographs, but also the beautiful scenery of the world-famous Hangzhou West Lake.
