Day 1
Sail from the Grand Canal to the Qiantang River during Night
At 19:15 p.m, we set sail at Wulinmen Dock. Then go southward along the ancient Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal to enjoy lesser-known wonders, such as New Appearance of Wulin(武林新姿), Long Stone Fence(石栏长阵), Sound of Tide Flapping on Stones(石弄潮声), Mediation on the Past of Canal(运河怀古), Autumn Charms of Genxin(艮新秋韵), River and Canal Bathed in Flowing Rosy Clouds(江河流霞).

Our 3-hour trip culminates at Sanbao Ship Lock(三堡船闸), where the Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal greets the mighty Qiantang River. Open your eyes and heart to take in the symphony created by the hands of Mother Nature. Chances are that you will be left spell-bound.

Our heart-pounding encounter with the convergence of canal and river will be followed by a more majestic sail along the spacious Qiantang River.

Qiantang River is responsible for the world-renowned Qiantang Tidal Bore, a spectacle occurring monthly, but is at its breathtakingly best during the 15th day of the 8th lunar month.

The river bank of Qiantang River is defined by super chick skyscrapers. The skyline here is ever-changing and re-invents itself constantly, testifying to Hangzhou’s identity as an influential economy powerhouse south of the Yangtze River.
We will catch a glimpse of the Qianjiang New City, Hangzhou’s New York ,(钱江新城) from afar. Our trip concludes at the resplendent Fuxing Bridge (Qianjiang The 4th Bridge). After a brief stay, we make a return voyage.
