Full day Dumpling Making Tour in Hangzhou
Dumplings are a quintessential, traditional Chinese food. They have a history of over 1,800 years and were originally prepared to fend off the chill of winter. Have you ever wanted to make Chinese dumplings by yourself and share them with your friends? Join our tour and become an apprentice for a day and learn how to cook Chinese dumplings at the dumpling workshop!

Day 1
Hangzhou (L)

After breakfast at your hotel, your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby and drive you to the Cooking School, which is certificated by the Hangzhou Government. Upon arrival, you will meet the chef. The chef, after a brief introduction, will give you some basic knowledge about how to make dumplings. The dumpling cooking course consists of four main steps: dough making, wrapper making, stuffing making and dumpling making.

 

For lunch, you will be taken to a Chinese restaurant to enjoy local cuisine. Your dumpling cooking lesson will resume in the afternoon. Upon completion of the cooking course, you’ll be brought back to your hotel. We hope you will enjoy your informative, fun, all-day apprenticeship at the dumpling cooking workshop!
