3 Days Hangzhou Tour
As an old Chinese saying goes, ‘Up above there is heaven, down below there are Suzhou and Hangzhou’. Hangzhou has long been praised as a heavenly city. It is blessed with rich history, culture and picturesque mountain and lake landscape. Careful and slowly appreciation will be helpful to indulge into the city’s beauty.

Day 1
Lingyin Temple -> West Lake
Lingyin Temple, firstly founded in 328 AD, is the most celebrated place of interest around West Lake and one of the top ten Buddhist temples of China. It is confronted with the well-known Peak Flying from Afar (飞来峰, famous for its grotto carvings) and backed by Northern Peak (北高峰).  Today the temple is thriving as a destination for both pilgrims and tourists. Visit Lingyin Temple at 10:00 am to appreciate ancient pagodas and Buddhist grottoes.

Then you will have lunch at noon. After lunch and rest for a while, you will visit West Lake, the most famous must-visit in Hangzhou. At 2:00 pm, get on board of West Lake boat to take closer look at the beautiful lake scenery including Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, Mid-lake Pavilion, Bai and Su Causeways, Solitary Hills and Viewing Fish at Flower Pond.

After visiting the West Lake, go back to your hotel at about 4:30 pm. Have a good rest.

Day 2
Xixi National Wetland Park -> Longjing Village -> Hefang Street -> Thousand-Islet Lake
After breakfast, enjoy your tour by visiting Xixi National Wetland Park from 9:00 am.

Xixi National Wetland Park is well known as the "Three Xi’s (West) of Hangzhou" (short for the three landmark attractions in Hangzhou) along with West Lake (Xihu), and Xiling Seal-Engravers' Society. Covering an area of 10.08 square kilometers, Xixi National Wetland Park is located at the west part of Hangzhou, less than 5 kilometers away from West Lake. It is China’s first and the only national wetland park, which combines urban wetland, farming wetland and cultural wetland.

After lunch, continue your tour to Longjing Village which is famous for the Longjing Tea. The village has more than 500,000 sq m of tea plantation. It resembles a green ribbon clinging to the gentle slopes. You can learn about how tea grows and being made, and have a try by yourself.

Set aside an hour for Hefang Street built in traditional Chinese architectural style. Hefang Street is a part of Qing He Fang (清河坊), the most well-preserved ancient street of the Song Dynasty (960-1279 AD). Now it’s a famous pedestrian street lined by characteristic craft stores, time honored restaurants and food shops. You can buy some souvenirs and local snacks. 

Then take bus to Thousand-Islet Lake at 5:00.

Day 3
Thousand-Islet Lake
After a contented breakfast, a day of Thousand-Islet Lake tour begins. What is marvelous about Thousand-Islet Lake is the crystal-clear water and the 1,078 islets scattering in the lake for which it was named for. Located in Chun’an County, Thousand-Islet Lake is two-hour drive from downtown Hangzhou.

The water from Thousan-Islet Lake is drinkable and used as the water source of Chinese Notable mineral water brand- Nongfu Spring (农夫山泉). Among the 1,078 islets, more appealing ones are such islets as Yueguang (月光Moonlight) Islet, Shenlong (神龙Saint Dragon) Islet, Longshan (龙山Dragon Hill) Islet and Meifeng (梅峰 Mume Peak) Islet which is said to be the vantage point to have a panoramic view of Thousand-Islet Lake.
