Liangzhu Culture and Art Center
This is the first and only architectural work by the Japanese architect Tadao Ando in Hangzhou and is nicknamed "the Big Roof". The Xiao Library opened by the famous Chinese musician and movie director, Gao Xiaosong inside the center makes it even more famous. In spring, the sunlight penetrates the library's French windows, and the mottled tree shadows are reflected on the water surface, creating a most relaxing scene.

Mei Li Zhou Church
Walking up the Big Roof, you will find the Mei Li Zhou Church hidden behind the mountains. The church was designed by the architect Hiromasa Tsujima. It blends the sanctity of western church architecture with the tranquility and purity of eastern Zen. Standing in front of the church, you can feel the serenity and purity as well as the long-lost peace and harmony.
China International Design Museum
Designed by renowned Portuguese architect Alvaro Siza, the China International Design Museum of the China Academy of Art attracts many people who come to Hangzhou specially for it. The building is triangular-shaped. The dominant external material Angolan red sandstone contrasts with the blue sky. On sunny and rainy days, the red sandstone will present a different color!

ICBC Yangbatou Branch
Even if you have never been to Hangzhou, you will not be unfamiliar with the building next to the Southern Song Dynasty Imperial Street. The old building, a combination of classical and baroque French architecture, is ICBC Yangbatou branch. In front of the entrance steps are Lonian columnar gateways with Suzhou Jinshan granite pillars. The so-called Lonian column is of typical ancient Greek architectural style, as beautiful and holy as the famous Athena Temple.
