The 53rd Wildlife Photographer Of The Year - China Station, which was jointly introduced by Zhejiang Museum of Natural History and Wild China Film, is being exhibited at the West Lake Cultural Square Pavilion of the Zhejiang Museum of Natural History. The 100 award-winning works displayed in this exhibition have been picked out from 48,000 candidates from 92 countries around the world.

The winner of the  "
2017 Wildlife Photographer of the Year"  was Brent Stirton from South Africa. His work  "Remembrance of a Species"  was displayed to show the tragic picture of a male black rhinoceros hunted in the Inverness Park of Hluhluwe, South Africa.

Daniel Nelsen from Netherlands is an annual youth wildlife photographer. His work "
Good Life" shows gorillas in Congo's Ozara National Park enjoying fruit.

In addition, in this year's Wildlife Photography of the Year, Chinese photographer Lin Qing's work "
Parasite" was nominated and he was the only Chinese person to win this award.

Zhejiang Museum of Natural History first introduced this exhibition in 2011 so that the public could enjoy top-level photography whilst at the same time recognizing and respecting the world’s nature and the living creatures that inhabit it.  The exhibition will be held from 7th to 30th June.
