Zhejiang’s Largest Plant Maze Opening Soon 2018-05-31
Zhi Hui Hua (Wisdom Flower) Amusement Park is a big project being carried out by Hangzhou Xianghu Lake Scenic Area. Covering an area of 124,600 sq m, the amusement park mainly consists of eight zones which include the following: 12 Astrological Houses-Themed Plant Maze, Seven-Star Flower Sea, Plants Science Education Zone, Farming Education Zone, Happy Lawn, Creative Sands, Wisdom Classroom and Creative Development Activities Zone.

The Largest Plant Maze in Zhejiang, China

Out of the above eight, the most eye-catching one is the maze which is also the largest plant maze in Zhejiang Province. The maze alone covers an area of 15,000 sq m which is ten times the size of the plant maze in Jinshan District, Shanghai.

The Plant Maze is a type of gardening culture that infuses the complexity of a maze with the creativeness of the surrounding environment’s art. The designer of the 12 Astrological Houses-Themed Plant Maze is a young mother and keen garden landscape designer. In this project, she has made full use of her skills and has built a plant maze which is not only a piece of art but also a fun paradise for children. The maze is designed to resemble the universe. The big stage at the center of the maze is the earth and inside the maze, crisscrossing paths are infused with twelve constellations. Here, you will literally feel like you are in a world of your own…

The main body of the maze is made of 8,000 Chinese photinia and other landscape plants are also used. Inside the maze are many developmental training activities, such as the climbing wall and net, all of which are aimed at stimulating the minds and bodies of little ones. The entire maze has only one entrance and exit and even the most experienced people need at least an hour to find their way out.

Inside the park, there are over 300 flowers, grasses and trees and every kind of plant has its own “name card”. To learn all about these plants, all you need to do is to scan the QR Code.

Here, not only can people enjoy themselves in all types of amusement facilities but they also can take part in a wealth of activities such as flower arranging, tea ceremony, ceramic making, Chinese culture and painting.

Zhi Hui Hua Amusement Park is scheduled to finish on January 15, 2017 and is estimated to be open in March. Before its opening, from January 21-25, 2017, people can visit the park and witness at first hand the gardens.
