Director of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism Chu Ziyu Went to Hangzhou Again to Investigate and Guide the Prevention and Control Work of the 2019-nCoV Pneumonia 2020-02-14

On the afternoon of January 31, Chu Ziyu, the party secretary and director of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, Chu Ziyu again led the office and related people of the marketing department to Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, TV and Tourism to investigate and guide the prevention and control work of the 2019-nCoV Pneumonia outbreak.

Director Chu and his delegation first paid a visit to the comrades who stuck to their post on the front line of the holiday duty and wished everyone a Happy Spring Festival, and then specially listened to the work report on organizing security, strengthening duty, conducting supervision and properly handling tourists’ complaints, etc. by Ruan Ying, the deputy party secretary and the deputy director of Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, TV and Tourism.

Director Chu fully affirmed the prevention and control work of the 2019-nCoV Pneumonia outbreak of Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, TV and Tourism, believing that Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, TV and Tourism did a great job in firmly carrying out the work of duty with efficient measures, prompt actions and solid work and played a leading and an exemplary role in the province. In particular, in response to tourists’ complaints caused by the suspension of outbound travel, Hangzhou planned early and worked pragmatically, seizing the best disposal period. The key point of the following work should focus on the strategic deployment and requirements of “preventing the disease from spreading and preventing affected people from entering” put forward by Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and Zhejiang Provincial People’s Government to continue to do a good job in preventing and controlling of the 2019-nCoV Pneumonia outbreak. The province’s culture and tourism system aims at “preventing the disease from spreading”, which is to work on weak links and further improve the work of inspection, preventing and controlling the outbreak in cultural venues, scenic areas, restaurants, etc. The part of “preventing affected people entering” is about doing a good job in the management of people returning to work and schools to prevent affected people entering the province. Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism will actively coordinate and guide the work of handling tourists’ complaints caused by the suspension of outbound travel.

Zhao Hongzhong, the deputy director of Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, TV and Tourism and heads of relevant departments have participated in the survey and discussion.
