From Paris to Hangzhou Art Moves in Full Flow… 2017-06-27
The Louvre, the largest museum in the world and a Paris landmark, is world famous for its vast collection of classical paintings and sculptures. For art fans residing in Hangzhou this June the Louvre museum will “move into” the city and display a hundred gems from its fabulous art collection – all stamped with the official authorization of the Louvre Museum and the National Museum Union of France. So from Paris to Hangzhou art moves in full flow...


Rare Themed Prints



To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Sino-France diplomatic relations the Louvre Print Studio has produced a series of limited edition prints (only ten sets in the world). Among these are Mona Lisa, The Last Supper, Liberty Leading the People and The Valpinçon Bather. In terms of both art and historic value these prints are sure to rival other collections in the Louvre Museum.


Collection of Single Prints



In the exhibition visitors will be able to see 49 single prints that carefully selected from the 13,000 categories housed in the museum. Visitors will not only be mesmerized by the marvelous artworks by eminent art masters but they will also be able to learn about the intaglio printing technique which prevailed in Europe for 400 years.


Reproductions of Classic Sculptures



The Louvre Sculpture Studio has produced some fine reproductions of classic sculptures like the world famous Venus de Milo and The Thinker.

Restored Medieval Jewels



Shining brightly on the scene are a number of medieval royal jewels which have been loaned from the National Museum Union of France and include rings, earrings, necklaces and brooches and  through which you can get a glimpse of the past.

New Exhibition-visiting Experience Brought by VR



The exhibition breaks the norms of traditional viewing and creatively applies the newly-introduced VR technology.
