A Comfortable Way to Tour Hangzhou 2017-06-27
It's widely known that Hangzhou is a heavenly city with stunning views and that’s what lures tourists to flood to its top attractions. If you hate being pushed around by crowds, sitting comfortable in air-conditioned vehicles with stunning views unfolding in front of your very eyes might be a wise choice for you.


Water bus


The inscription of the Grand Canal on the UNESCO World Heritage List has brought vitality to its cruises. Step aboard any of the leisure boats at Wulinmen Wharf, pass through Xinyifang Food Street till Gongchen Bridge, and all the way you will be greeted by unique grand canal views. After docking, pick a table at one of the many restaurants along the canal to enjoy the breeze, and drink and eat to your heart’s content; your day will then feel complete.


Bus No.7 West Lake → Lingyin


For newcomers in Hangzhou, West Lake is a must-visit. The bus runs through West Lake Avenue, Hubin Road, Dongpo Road, Beishan Road and Lingyin Road with Hubin Park, the Broken Bridge, “Breeze-ruffled Lotus at Quyuan Garden”, Yue Fei Mausoleum and other famous tourist spots listed along the route.


Bus No.194 West Lake → Binjiang


Bus No. 194 provides a direct route from West Lake to Binjiang and runs through the north section of Yugu Road, Qiushi Road, Shuguang Road, Yanggong Causeway and Hupao, along with delightful sceneries in different seasons.


Bus No.807 Lingyin → Jiulisong → Zhaohui Park


At the station of bus No.807 lies a small forest of golden Sapindus trees, nicknamed soap fruit tree whose golden leaves make a contrast against the azure sky- a sight not to be missed. At the terminal of the bus awaits the city’s most beautiful gingko trees at Zhaohui Park. Walk along an alley called Huayuannong(华园弄), then a 600 meters long golden gingko tree walkway comes into view. The gingko trees turn golden usually around the middle of November.


Bus No.318 West Lake → Nine Creeks Meandering through a Misty Forest (九溪烟树)


Nine Creeks Meandering through a Misty Forest’ is renowned for its serene and secluded natural scenery. At a first glance, it may look just so-so, but, with upon venturing further and further along its zigzag path, the scenery gets more and more stunning.
