New Year’s Eve Bell Will Be Ringing 2019-06-24
The New Year’s Eve bell ringing ticket of Hangzhou Jingci Temple has begun pre-order. Except for a 10 yuan/per person entrance ticket in the temple, if you want to ring the bell, you need to buy a 10 yuan bell ringing ticket at the box office. The admission capacity will be strictly controlled.

On Dec.31, the Jingci Temple will open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and then open again at 8:00 pm until 2:00 am on January 1, 2015. From 22:30 that night, the temple will hold a nearly one-hour-long prayer ceremony for welcoming the arrival of the New Year. Meanwhile, Hangzhou Leifeng Pagoda which faces to the Jingci Temple will also hold a climbing and blessing activity around 22:00.

The Evening Bell Ringing at Nanping Hill is one of the ten Hangzhou scenic spots. It rings every 4:00 am and 8:00 pm with 108 sounds in the clock tower in the Jingci Temple. Every sounds is lingering about two minutes.
