Paint the Town Red 2017-06-27
In true Christmas spirit why not paint the town red this December. Hangzhou’s bars are always buzzing and are also known for celebrating almost every western festival. So with this in mind, visiting a number of Hangzhou’s bars during Christmas and New Year is bound to be a real cracker.

Here are a few of our festive favourites:

Huanglou JZ Club
JZ club, a favourite among foreigners, is housed in a wooden European-style building. What makes it special is that it offers the best live Jazz in town. If you are a jazz fan, then you could have found your second home. Apart from the music the bar has the widest selection of wine and with more than 300 cocktails on its menu; I think anyone could easily come to appreciate jazz and its smooth stylish sounds.

Get on down to Reggae Bar, a popular haunt amongst foreign students. With live bands playing great music, drinks ranging from 30-60 RMB and reasonably-priced food, be merry this Christmas and take a visit to Reggae.

Mint Bar
Mint by name and Mint by nature - with outdoor fences covered in this green and tasty leaf you can smell this place a mile off. Together with fantastic outdoor seating, a trendy and cosy interior, and a number of cool cocktails, a drink at Mint is sure to go down well this Christmas. The bar is also known for Salsa dancing so if you pick the right night you may be in for a real treat.
