Official Opening of Hangzhou – Changsha High-Speed Rail
October 10 saw the official opening of Hangzhou – Changsha high-speed rail.
This high-speed rail greatly shortens the distance between Hangzhou and the western region of Zhejiang Province. This is the first high-speed rail opened in Yiwu and Jinhua cities. The former shortest time of 1 hour and 24 minutes from Jinhua City to Hangzhou City now reduces to only 41 minutes. Besides, the shortest time from Jiangshan City to Hangzhou City now becomes 1 hour and 11 minutes. Therefore the entire western region of Zhejiang Province runs into a two-hour traffic circle.
What’s more, Hangzhou-Changsha high-speed rail also shortens the distance from Hangzhou City to Changsha City (Hunan Province) and Nanchang City (Jiangxi Province). With connections to the Changsha – Nanning (Guangxi Province) high-speed rail and the Changsha – Guangzhou (Guangdong Province) high-speed rail, Hangzhou – Changsha high-speed rail greatly reduces the time from Hangzhou to Guangzhou and Nanning cities.
In the future, the Hangzhounese activity range will be greatly expanded during weekends. Meanwhile, more visitors will spend their time in this beautiful Hangzhou City.
The sun is shining and the autumn wind is just right. In such good weather, it is a good idea to travel back in time in the Hangzhou Confucius Temple. Here, you can cultivate your mind and soul. In the temple, tablets can be seen everywhere, positioning people instantly in the ancient seat of learning in the capital city of the Southern Song Dynasty. Here, you can stop and appreciate the ancient moss-covered stone tiles, which seems to narrate the thousands-of-year history of the Confucius Temple.
