Tea Farmers begin to pick West Lake Longjing Tea 2017-06-27

In Manjuelong Village (满觉陇村), Wengjiashan Village (翁家山村) and Yangmeiling Village (杨梅岭村), some of the tea bushes are ready for picking. It’s estimated that the period after March 20 is the peak period for picking West Lake Longjing Tea. Then, the first picking of West Lake Longjing Tea will be available in the market. West Lake Longjing Tea is the best tea in China. It falls into different grades and the best is the first picking of the year.

 

In addition, the scenery in Longjing Scenic Area is the best of the year. Not only can you enjoy mountains of lush green tea bushes, but also can watch tea farmers picking tea leaves and hand-frying Longjing Tea.
