Tuankou Hot Spring – overflowing in history and beauty


Tuankou Hot Spring, known to the locals as Ludi Spring, has a history that dates back more than 1300 years. The biggest in eastern China it covers 18,000 sq m and has the capacity to hold more than 1,700 people. Situated approx 129 km from Hangzhou city centre it is also not far from Qian Dao Hu (Thousand Island Lake). 



With temperatures varying between 30 ℃ and 47 ℃ Tuankou Hot Spring, during Hangzhou’s colder months, will not only warm your heart but will soothe your mind, body and soul. Surrounded by verdant mountains and gentle streams, Tuankou Hot Spring is both soaked in beauty and overflowing with history.


Daming Mountain Alpine Ski Resort – Hangzhou’s winter wonderland

Danming Mountain Alpine Ski Resort stands approximately 1,200 metres above sea level and is the highest and largest of its kind in eastern China.  As one of the top ten scenic areas in Zhejiang province it has more than 50,000 sq m of verdant landscape to explore. Not only renowned for its breath-taking scenery, Danming Mountain has reached new heights and now takes winter activities to a new level.


The skiing zone covers 20,000 sq m and boasts a track 10,000 metres long and 80 metres wide. Besides the ski track there is 5,000 sq m of snow dedicated as a play zone. So whether you to choose to ski, slide or fall down, any slope gracing Daming Mountains will take you on a fun-filled journey bursting with excitement and romance.

Breeze-Ruffled Lotus at Quyuan Garden (simplified Chinese: 曲院风荷; pinyin: qu yuan feng he), one of the ten scenic views of West Lake in Southern Song Dynasty, is one of the largest special lotus gardens in China. In the garden are grown over 50 kinds of lotus flowers. Here, you are able to see the spectacular view of “The emerald lotus leaves reach as far as where water and skies meet, and lotus blossoms bathing in sunshine exhibit a distinctive dazzling pink”, which is vividly depicted in a renowned Chinese poem.
