Autumn, Have a Date with Flowers in Hangzhou 2017-06-27
Although flowers in autumn aren't so showy and diverse as flowers in spring, still they can get their unique charm. Without worrying viewer’s attention to be shared by many, autumn flowers can confidently and fully reveal their beauty. With the weather getting colder and colder, autumn flowers silently took over the job of decorating Hangzhou.

Camellia sasanqua
Camellia sasanqua is a species of Camellia native to China and has been planted widely in China since the Song Dynasty (960-1127). Its flowers resemble those of camellia and plum with 5–8 white to dark pink petals. The fragrant colorful flowers and glossy green leaves are its secret weapons.

Chrysanthemum
With various species of chrysanthemum competing for the beauty, no doubt, autumn is the time of the chrysanthemum. First cultivated in China as far back as the 15th century BC, the chrysanthemum is renowned as one of the "Four Gentlemen (四君子)" and made an eternal theme in Chinese literature. For its significant symbolic imagery and its high ornamental value, the chrysanthemum is widely favored in China and become a part of Chinese traditional culture.

Crabapple Blooms
Technically speaking, crabapple is a spring flower which blooms in April. However, this autumn, they can't wait to be admired and show their pink flowers early in autumn. Enhanced by the golden color of autumn, the pink flowers are also a pleasure to the eyes.

2017 Qiantang River Tidal Bore Watching Guideline2017-09-22
Qiantang River is the largest river in Zhejiang Province and empties itself into the Eastern China sea through Hangzhou Bay. The Qiangtang River tidal bore is a world-renowned spectacle and is reputed as the "No. 1 Tidal Bore in the World". The Qiantang River tidal bore, often reaching heights of three meters, results from the gravitational forces and the rotation of the earth, and the fact that Hangzhou Bay is shaped like a trumpet.

The 2017 International (Hangzhou) Trail-walk Conference2017-09-22
According to the news conference of 2017 Internatioanl (Hangzhou) Trail-walk Conference, this year’s trail-walk event will take place on October 28 in Jianggan Sports Center. Registration will be available for three days starting from September 28.
