    Brief of Hangzhou History Museum

    The museum has three floors. The ground floor is mainly the exhibition hall of primitive society of China - the Northern and Southern Dynasties (420-589), Sui Dynasty (581–618), Tang Dynasty (618 – 907) and the Five Dynasties (907–960/979), and the model of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. History of Dynasty of the North and South Song Dynasties (960–1279), Yuan Dynasty (1271–1368), Ming Dynasty (1368–1644) Qing Dynasty (1644–1912) and the century-old shop of the city are displayed on the second floor. Special exhibition rooms such as room of paintings and calligraphy, room of stamps exhibition, etc are on the third floor. Exhibition of unearthed cultural relics excavating from the regions of Hangzhou has also been exhibited. By advanced sound, light, electricity, abundant display technology are applied to create a visual perceptual cognition for the visitor.
