    Brief of Suspending Temple

Daci Mountain boasts a cave temple known as the “suspending temple south of the Yangtze River”. Half of the main hall of the temple sits in a cave 3 meters high, 60 meters long and 20 meters wide while the other half is seen suspending in midair. Also, the mountain features a deep steepsided valley with a river flowing through and the biggest standing stone Buddha in China. Out of its main peak is carved the Buddha, 147 meters in height and 60 meters in width. Even his head is as high as 41.3 meters. Viewed at a distance, the whole statue looks like a mountain. It is listed in the Best of China.
